Pavement Engineering
ERI owns and operates a number of non-destructive pavement data collection equipment; Heavy-Falling Weight Deflectometer (H-FWD) and Ground penetrating Radar (GPR) are an example of such equipment. ERI owns and operates an Automated Video Distresses Van (ADS Van) to collect both pavement surface distresses (e.g. pavement cracking) and pavement asset data (e.g. pavement markings, guard rail, etc.). The ADS van collects both IRI data & rutting data using very high quality laser profiles of the right & left wheel path.

ERI pavement experts provide pavement designs and evaluations for transportation, aviation and port facilities as well contractors and consultant using the state-of-the-art and the state-of-the practice design methodologies. ERI experts provide specialized pavement design services (e.g. mechanistic empirical pavement designs) tailored to our clients’ needs.

ERI implement pavement management system (PMS) solutions for transportation and aviation clients. ERI have implemented PMS for municipalities, airports, and other agencies in the USA, Canada and Saudi Arabia. ERI can implement both asset management and bridge management solutions for its clients.
